MVE-D Explosion-Proof External Electric Vibrator
Product Features
The Explosion Proof range of MVE-D External Electric Motovibrators delivers 800 to 5,500 kg of centrifugal force in 2, 4, 6 or 8 poles, for application on drilling fluid recovery systems in oil and gas extraction plants as well as sand evacuation equipment in fracking operations. The MVE-D comes with ATEX ExII2GD and ETL Class I, Division 1 and Class II, Division 1 certifications for use in the presence of potentially flammable dusts or gases for the explosion proof design of the engine. In addition, MVE-D has an international IECEx certification.

SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

CERTIFIED FOR USE IN RISKY ENVIRONMENTS

COMPATIBLE WITH ORIGINAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT LEADING IN THE PETROLEUM INDUSTRY
Description
Explosion Proof MVE-D External Electric Motovibrators consist of an electric motor housed in a robust FMEA designed cast enclosure with eccentric weights on both shaft ends. Special design features and tight tolerances prevent potential explosions inside the engine from affecting the external environment, making the explosion proof MVE-D suitable for applications where such a feature is essential in the oil and gas industry.
Explosion proof MVE-D External Electric Motovibrators can be used as flow aids in hoppers or silos to improve material discharge, or as drives in vibrating machinery, particularly in the oil and gas industry, sometimes in the transport, sifting, dewatering or liquid recovery industry.
When the MVE is turned on, a sinusoidal centrifugal force is provided by the rotation of the eccentric weights. With only one MVE attached to a vibrating machine, rotational force is provided and the machine is made to move circularly. Two counter-rotating MVEs installed in parallel on the same machine provide linear force resulting in linear motion of the machine. Circular or linear motion requirement depends on the application.
Most applications in the oil and gas industry use two MVE Motovibrators per machine to generate linear motion.
